Whale Valley – A haunting journey of two brothers in Iceland

Two brothers living in a remote fjord in Iceland with their parents go through a journey of discovery which becomes a turning point in their lives in Whale Valley. The viewer sees into their world through the eyes of the younger brother. The film hits all the emotions with stunning visuals and a tale that leaves the viewer feeling moved and wondering about life in Iceland, and in general.

Having friends in Iceland and spending time there, the land is beautiful, mysterious and like other Nordic nations, the huge changes between seasons can bring out the wonders of the mountains, towns and people. From long days to short, dark ones, it has its effect on people and their moods. For me, it’s something to experience, but for those living there, it can be a daunting time during winter for some. Yet, it’s because of all that is in Iceland which makes it a land of wonder and discovery.
