David Tennant Seeks to Help Stressed Pets (And Humans) with His Soothing Voice

David Tennant Talks Animals

Actor David Tennant has done a few things since hanging up his sonic screwdriver in Doctor Who, and now he’s lending his voice to help calm cats, dogs and humans.

The videos are timely, since it’s Guy Fawkes night this week, and our wee furry friends can get stressed out from the loud fireworks.

The videos were produced for the British insurance company More Than.

Pet behaviourist Karen Wild and vet Robert White-Adams (with a little help from David Tennant) talk about the science behind the first films for cats and dogs designed to help calm them around fireworks and loud noises.
