I always remember growing up and when my parents came home from work, they would have the paper with them and it’s still something they do. “Print is Dead” is a familiar term we are pummelled with all the time, and while it’s true in a certain way, it’s definitely still here.

The New York Times shows us just how the art of printing is alive and kicking in this inside look at their print facility, titled Machinists where they print hundreds of thousands of newspapers every day.

Motherboard were invited to take a look, with the help of a dedicated team of three men who keep those well-oiled machines running all year round.
