After months of teases and snippets, we finally have a trailer for Blade Runner 2049 the sequel to the classic 1982 Blade Runner. The film is set thirty years after the first movie, with Rick Decard apparently missing throughout the intervening decades.
Ryan Gosling, who plays a new blade runner, has reportedly been tasked with finding Decard while uncovering a secret that sounds like it will be a world of trouble. Harrison Ford reprises his role as an older Decard.
Blade Runner 2049 has Ridley Scott serving as executive producer and the film is directed by Denis Villeneuve (Arrival). From what we can see from the trailer, there’s lots to be excited about, but we’ll have to wait until October 6, 2017 to find out.
